burns & plastics and has the largest solid organ transplantaion

new acute hospital in 70 years. The new £545m Queen Elizabeth
Hospital Birmingham opened its doors to patients on June 16,
2010.

We provide traditional secondary care services to the South
Birmingham catchment area. Specialist tertiary care is provided
mainly across the West Midlands and a proportion of the Trust's
activity is provided to patients who are referred from outside
the region. .
Applications are invited for the above substantive Consultant
post. The post will cover clinical biochemistry and Inherited
Metabolic disorders services. The postholder will share with
other consultant colleagues the day to day care of patients
with inherited metabolic and lipid disorders. In addition,
the post holder will have a Chemical pathology role in the
new state of the art biochemistry laboratory.
Applicant for the post must have full GMC Registration, FRCPath,
MRCP or equivalent. Inclusion on Specialist Register or,
if in training, eligible for inclusion on the Register within
6 months of interview date. Previous experience/training
in the required specialities is essential.
